Portfolio of Works

Here you'll find paintings depicting various parts of the western states including Hawaii and Alaska.  Some are paintings of well known National Parks, others are of scenes close to home and perhaps, a bit obscure but, every bit as beautiful and compelling as the most iconic landscapes

A two year project which involved painting many of the locations painted by Maynard Dixon and Edgar Payne.  The pieces in this collection are of iconic locales in the American West like Yosemite Valley, Canyonlands National Park, the Eastern Sierra, Glacier National Park, etc...

A small but growing collection of paintings done during my visits to Central Florida (I have family there).  The landscape in Florida is so different from the desert and mountain scenes I frequently paint that when I'm there, I just can't resist trying to capture them in paint.

Original oil paintings 6x8 or smaller.

This is a collection of paintings created with gouache which, is a water based paint that contains more pigment than traditional watercolors making it more opaque.  Historically used by illustrators, gouache has become more popular with fine artists in recent years.  Being water based, they are offered at a lower price point than my oils.  I hope you enjoy them.
