Malibu Creek is one of my favorite places to paint because of an abundance of scenes like this one. The richness of color and the lush vegetation combined with the solidity of the boulders and refreshing feel of the water to provide a scene I couldn't pass up. I could have stayed there all day even if I weren't painting.
